Ingredientes

  • 6 c. double-strength fresh-brewed dark roast
  •     coffee
  • 2/3 c. unsweetened cocoa pwdr plus
  •     additional for garnish
  • 2 c. nonfat lowfat milk

Direcciones

  1. Fill ice cube trays with half of the brewed coffee and place in the freezer.
  2. In a bowl, combine the remaining brewed coffee, cocoa pwdr and lowfat milk and stir to dissolve the cocoa. Cover and chill.
  3. When the ice cubes have frzn, transfer them to a kitchen towel and, using a hammer or possibly mallet, crush the cubes.
  4. Fill 4 glasses with the crushed ice and divide the coffee-cocoa mix proportionately among them. Dust the top with cocoa pwdr and serve.
  5. This recipe yields 4 servings.
