Ingredientes

  • 2 lbs chicken breast without skin sliced 1/4 inch thickness
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour and
  • 1/4 corn flour ( all p.flour and corn flour mixed together)
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp mustard powder
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tablespoon hot pepper sauce (Tabasco)
  • 2 cups oil for frying

Direcciones

  1. Slice chicken breast 1/4 inch thickness. Set aside.
  2. In a bowl whisk all these ingredients together:baking powder,baking soda,pepper,salt,garlic powder,mustard powder and grated Parmesan cheese.
  3. Slowly add buttermilk,egg and hot pepper sauce while whisking.
  4. Make sure the batter is well mixed then add in the chicken slices
  5. Marinate for at least three hours.
  6. Dredge each piece of chicken in corn all purpose flour mixture
  7. Then start to fry in a hot oil until golden brown(3-5minutes both sides)
  8. Serve with gravy and mashed potato.
