Steamed Fish With Shiitake Mushrooms

Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 c. shredded napa cabbage
  • 1 lb halibut or possibly 1 pound sea bass or possibly 1 pound salmon, fillet
  • 1 c. finely sliced shiitake mushroom
  • 1/4 c. thinly sliced green onion
  • 1 Tbsp. julienned ginger, root
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 pch white pepper
  • 4 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 tsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp sesame oil
  •     coriander, sprigs

Direcciones

  1. Scatter cabbage in shallow serving dish or possibly pasta bowl large sufficient to fit in steamer. Add in; top with shiitake, onions, ginger, salt and pepper. Cover and steam over high heat till fish flakes easily when tested, 16 to 18 min.
  2. Pour off liquid from plate into saucepan; bring to boil over medium heat. Blend soy sauce, cornstarch and 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) water; add in to pan and return to boil.
  3. Stir in sesame oil; pour over fish. Garnish with coriander.
