  • 1 c. Polenta (rough grnd corn meal)
  • 3 c. Water
  •     Salt and pepper to taste

  1. I did not keep the name of whoever wrote about steamed Polenta, however I did want to offer a heartly "thank you"! Talk about a very easy timesaver!
  2. It turns out absolutely great! For those of you who missed it . . .
  3. I use my Black and Decker steamer with the rice basket in place.
  4. Just put all the ingredients in the rice basket, stir well till lump-free and steam for 20 min. It comes out very creamy and eliminates all the arm-weary stirring! You can also add in herbs to the mix and stir them in. My favorite, just add in some FF parmesan cheese and chow down! You can remove from steamer and place in another container for cooling if you want it to cold to a specific shape. However, mine is never around long sufficient to cold!
