Hi there! For today's post I'm sharing a very simple dish that using 4 main ingredients ~ tofu, minced pork, century egg and salted egg. These are very cheap ingredients and the eggs are usually used for congee and also it's my favourite. But if you have guests at home and do not want to spend too much of your time in the kitchen, you can try this dish.

Steamed Tofu with Century Egg and Salted Egg

Method:

Marinate minced pork with the seasoning for 10-15 minutes.

Dice salted egg and century egg. Cut spring onion and red chilli finely. Then mix them together with the marinated pork.

Lay a paper towel on top of the tofu and press gently to absorb moisture and cut pressed tofu into 6 slices. Place them on a steaming plate and sprinkle some corn flour on the surface of the tofu and spread about 1 tablespoon or slightly more of pork mixture on it. Steam the tofu for 10-12 minutes at high heat.

Garnish with little more chopped spring onion over steamed tofu and serve immediately.
