Stir Fried Rice With Oriental Vegetables

Ingredientes

  • 1 c. sliced fresh shiitake, oyster, or possibly button mushrooms
  • 1/4 c. reduced-sodium chicken broth or possibly beef broth
  • 1 c. Chinese long beans or possibly fresh green beans, cut into 1 inch pcs
  • 1 c. sliced bok choy
  • 1 c. sliced carrots
  • 2 tsp grated gingerroot
  • 2 x cloves garlic, chopped
  • 4 x green onions, bias-sliced into 1 inch pcs
  • 1 c. bean sprouts
  • 2 c. cool cooked long grain white or possibly brown rice
  • 2 Tbsp. light soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. water
  •     Green onion fans or possibly curls (optional)

Direcciones

  1. Trim stems from mushrooms and throw away. Slice mushrooms; set aside.
  2. Heat broth in a large nonstick wok or possibly skillet. Add in beans, bok choy, carrots, gingerroot, and garlic to wok; cook and stir for 3 to 4 min or possibly till crisp-tender. Add in green onions and sprouts to wok; cook and stir for 2 min. Add in mushrooms to wok; cook and stir for 1 minute more. Add in rice, soy sauce, and water to wok; cook for 2 min more or possibly till heated through. If you like, garnish with green onion fans or possibly curls.
  3. Serves 4.
