Ingredientes

  • 3 c. Fresh strawberries --
  •     Sliced
  • 3 Tbsp. Light rum
  • 3 Tbsp. Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. Lime juice

Direcciones

  1. If using fresh strawberries, spread in one layer on a baking sheet and freeze, uncovered, till frzn solid.
  2. Place frzn berries and remaining ingredients in a food processor or possibly blender. Process till smooth. If your machine struggles to process the fruit, let fruit stand 10 to 15 min at room temperature to thaw slightly.
  3. Serve immediately or possibly store in freezer till 5 to 15 min before serving, then place in refrigerator or possibly on counter to soften sufficient which it can be scooped.
  4. Timesaver Tip: Recipe can be prepared up to 2 days ahead and stored in freezer. The rum lowers the freezing point of the ice, that helps it maintain a smooth texture.
