Receta Strawberry Ice Cream
Ingredients:
- Milk Powder – 200 gms
- Sugar – 100 gms
- Strawberries – 10
- Fresh Cream – 100 ml
- Water – 150 ml
- KMS (Potassium meta bisulphate) – 1/2 tsp (available in most major supermarkets)
- Ice Cream Stabilizer – 1 tsp (available in most major supermarkets)
- Strawberry Essence – 2 tsp
- Pink Food Colour – few drops
- Milk – little, boiled, cooled
Method:
1. Pressure cook the strawberries for 10 minutes and mash to a pulp.
2. Mix the ice cream stabilizer and KMS with little milk. Mix well without any lumps.
3. Add the strawberry pulp, milk powder and sugar.
4. Gradually pour the water and mix well without any lumps.
5. Stir until the sugar has fully dissolved.
6. Add the food colour, strawberry essence and fresh cream.
7. Mix again.
8. Pour into a freezer safe container and freeze for 1 1/2 hours or until set.
9. Garnish with strawberry syrup and whole strawberries and serve. Strawberry Ice Cream, 2.7 out of 5 based on 3 ratings
