%20I%20should%20have%20known%20he%20was%20waiting%20for%20this%20opening,%20this%20tiny%20bit%20of%20indecision%20on%20my%20part.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWell,%20I%20have%20an%20idea!%20Those%20five%20little%20words%20always%20bring%20a%20tiny%20bit%20of%20terror%20to%20my%20soul.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELet%E2%80%99s%20go%20pick%20strawberries!%20Ummm,%20okay.%20And%20off%20we%20go,%20girls%20in%20tow,%20to%20pick%20the%20strawberries%20that%20grow%20in%20a%20row.%20(Huh,%20huh,%20how%E2%80%99s%20that%20for%20a%20rhyme?!)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHere%20I%E2%80%99m%20thinking%20strawberries.%20The%20Dear%20One%20was%20thinking%20STRAWBERRIES.%20I%20think%20we%20picked%20fifteen%20quarts%20of%20strawberries.%20Some%20were%20greedily%20eaten,%20some%20went%20into%20smoothies,%20some%20into%20an%20incredible%20ice%20cream%20you%E2%80%99ll%20see%20next,%20and%20bags%20and%20bags%20and%20bags%20went%20into%20the%20freezer.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20some%20were%20lucky%20enough%20to%20make%20their%20way%20into%20this%20strawberry%20limeade.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%E2%80%99ve%20made%20this%20a%20number%20of%20times,%20and%20used%20the%20frozen%20strawberries%20in%20my%20freezer,%20once%20the%20fresh%20ran%20out.%20Frozen%20strawberries%20quarter%20very%20easily.%20Lime%20juice,%20strawberries%20and%20sugar.%20Doesn%E2%80%99t%20get%20easier%20than%20that.%20The%20sugar%20is%20adjusted%20to%20your%20liking.%20We%E2%80%99re%20not%20an%20awfully%20sweet%20group%20here,%20so%20I%20always%20make%20it%20a%20bit%20on%20the%20tart%20side.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBlend%20strawberries%20and%20lime%20juice%20in%20blender%20or%20food%20processor%20until%20smooth.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPour%20strawberry%20and%20lime%20mixture%20into%20a%20large%20pitcher.%20Add%20cold%20water%20and%20sugar.%20Stir%20until%20sugar%20dissolves.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAdd%20in%20ice%20cubes%20and%20pour%20into%20individual%20glasses.%20Garnish%20with%20lime,%20if%20desired.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPour%20over%20ice%20cubes%20in%20tall%20glasses;%20garnish%20each%20with%20strawberry%20or%20lime%20wedge,%20if%20desired.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELike%20Loading...%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERelated%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
