Ingredientes

  • 2 1/2 c. Oven-toasted rice cereal
  • 1/4 lb Marshmallows
  • 2 Tbsp. Evaporated lowfat milk
  • 1 1/2 c. Diced strawberries
  • 1/4 c. Sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. Cornstarch
  • 3/4 c. Pineapple juice
  • 1 c. Diced pineapple
  • 1/8 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Butter
  • 6 x Baked tart shells
  •     Vanilla ice cream

Direcciones

  1. Shells: Heat marshmallows with lowfat milk over simmering water, stir till smooth. Add in to cereal, toss to mix. Press on bottoms and sides of 6 small, buttered tart pans. Cold. Remove shells from pans. Tarts: Mix strawberries and sugar. Make a smooth paste of cornstarch and a little pineapple juice.
  2. Add in remaining pineapple juice, diced pineapple and salt. Cook, stirring constantly till thickened. Add in butter, strawberries and more sugar if you like. Cold. Pour into shells and serve topped with vanilla ice cream.
  3. Tootie's Notes: You can use chocolate ice cream or possibly orange ice instead of vanilla ice cream.
