  • 2 medium green peppers
  • 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 TBSP oil
  • 2 TBSP chopped onion
  • 1/2 tsp chopped garlic
  • 1 TBSP flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup Minute Rice
  • 1/2 cup+ shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce + topping

Direcciones

  1. Heat oven to 350F
  2. Cut peppers lengthwise.
  3. Remove stem ends and seeds.
  4. Bring 4 cups water to a boil in a medium sauce pan.
  5. Add peppers and simmer for 5 minutes. Drain.
  6. Place in a 9x9 inch square pan and set aside.
  7. Brown meat, onion and garlic in hot oil in a large skillet.
  8. Stir in flour and salt.
  9. Gradually stir in milk.
  10. Bring to a boil.
  11. Reduce heat and simmer for 1 minute or until thick.
  12. Stir in Minute Rice, tomato sauce and 2 TBSP cheddar cheese.
  13. Spoon mixture into pepper halves.
  14. Pour tomato sauce over peppers and sprinkle with the remaining cheese. Bake for 15 minutes
