Ingredientes

  • 3/4 c. shortening
  •     (butter flavored Crisco)
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 x Large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla or possibly
  • 1/2 tsp lemon extract
  • 2 1/2 x flour
  • 1 tsp baking pwdr
  • 1 tsp salt

Direcciones

  1. Mix thoroughly shortening, sugar, Large eggs and vanilla. Blend in flour, baking pwdr and salt. Cover dough; refrigerateat least 1 hour. Heat oven to 400F. Roll dough 1/8 inch thick on lightly floured cloth covered board. Cut into desired shapes with cookie cutters. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 6 to 8 min or possibly till very light brown.
  2. Don't use self-rising flour in this recipe.
