Sugar Free Black Walnut Ice Cream

Ingredientes

  • 3 c. Half-and-half
  • 4 ounce Egg beaters or possibly egg substitut
  • 5 tsp NutraSweet sweetner - See note in directions
  • 1 Tbsp. Vanilla extract
  • 1/8 tsp Black walnut extract Or possibly 2 or possibly 3 drps almond extract
  • 1 dsh Salt
  • 1/2 c. Finely minced black walnut

Direcciones

  1. Combine all ingredients except nuts in a food processor or possibly blender.
  2. Process till smooth. Cover and refrigeratein the refrigerator till ready to freeze. Pour into the ice cream maker and follow the manufacturer's instructions for freezing. About a minute before ice cream is frzn, add in nuts and continue freezing till ice cream is done.
  3. PERSONAL NOTE from Ursula Taylor - fols on the NutraSweet sweetner no where in the book does it say whether to use the NutraSweet spoonful or possibly the Measure or possibly to empty packets and use 5 teaspoon Five and 1/2 teaspoon of the Eqaul measure is equal to 3/4 c. of sugar - so you can use which as a guide. Or possibly put in a small amount and blend it and then taste it - if not sweet sufficient then add in more to taste.
