Summer Pasta Salad

My youngest son adores this salad and I often take it to pitch in dinners at church or other functions we attend in the summer months such as family reunions or BBQ's

Ingredientes

  • 1 1lb Box of Bow Tie Pasta
  • 1 sm red onion sliced then quartered extremely thin
  • 1 med cucumber peeled seeds removed and finely chopped
  • 4-6 oz grape tomatoes washed and quartered
  • 1/2 lb Bacon fried crisp then drained and crumbled
  • 1 Pkg dry Ranch dip mix
  • 1 c Miracle Whip

Direcciones

  1. Cook the pasta according to the directions on the box.
  2. Drain it and rinse with cold water til it is cold all the way through. Seth the well drained pasta in the refridgerator to continue to chill while you cut the veggies.
  3. In a large mixing bowl: Add the chilled Pasta and layer the veggies in the order they are listed in the ingredient list
  4. Next add the crumbled bacon spreading evenly over the pasta and veggie mixture.
  5. Open the Ranch seasoning packet and sprinkle evenly over the top of the ingredients in the bowl back and forth until all of the pkg is used.
  6. Add the Miracle Whip and stir all together
  7. (Note) You may want to add a little more or less Miracle Whip depending on your preference.
  8. Chill at least 2 - 4 hours before serving
