Sunday Dinner Turkey Breast

Ingredientes

  • 5 lb turkey breast - (to 6 lbs)
  • 1 stk butter or possibly margarine melted
  •     Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch

Direcciones

  1. Wash turkey breast thoroughly and pat dry with paper towels. Sprinkle pepper over all (no salt). Place in large crock pot. Heat butter or possibly margarine in microwave oven and pour over turkey breast.
  2. Cover and cook on HIGH for 6 to 7 hrs, or possibly till turkey gets brown and juices run clear when pierced with a knife. Pour the juice from the crockpot into a saucepan. Bring to boil slowly, then add in a couple of Tbsp. of cornstarch and some water, about 1 to 1 1/2 c.. Whisk over medium-low heat till smooth and thickened.
  3. This recipe yields 8 servings.
