Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 lb grnd beef
  • 1 x egg
  • 1/2 c. bread crumbs
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp. parsley
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1 can beef broth undiluted
  • 28 ounce canned tomatoes
  • 1 env onion soup mix
  • 2 c. carrots sliced
  • 1/4 c. celery leaves minced
  • 1 x bay leaf
  • 1/4 c. parsley minced
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 tsp oregano
  • 1/4 tsp basil

Direcciones

  1. Combine ingredients for meatballs. Shape and bake at 450 for 20-30 mins till brown. Add in 1/2 c water to loosen brown bits from pan and add in to stock.
  2. Combine all other ingredients and simmer covered 30 min. Add in meatballs and simmer 20 min longer.
  3. NOTES : Can use vegetable soup mix instead of onion soup mix.
  4. Meatballs can be made well in advance if you like.
