Sweet And Sour Pork Chops, Traditional

Ingredientes

  • 6 x pork loin chops 3/4 inch thick
  • 1/2 c. pineapple juice
  • 1/2 c. ketchup
  • 2 Tbsp. honey
  • 2 Tbsp. white wine vinegar
  • 1 1/2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 4 tsp cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp. water

Direcciones

  1. You can substitute chicken for pork if you prefer.
  2. Place pork chops in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, combine pineapple juice, ketchup, honey, vinegar, mustard and salt. Pour over the chops.
  4. Cover tightly and bake at 350 degrees for 30 min, uncover and bake 30 min longer or possibly till meat is tender.
  5. Remove chops from pan to a serving platter and keep hot. Strain pan juices into a saucepan. Combine cornstarch and water; add in to pan juices.
  6. Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly; cook and stir 2 min longer.
  7. Pour sauce over chops and serve immediately.
