Ingredientes

  • 1 med onion minced
  • 1 x clove garlic chopped
  • 3 c. cooked rice brown preferred
  • 2 tsp Spike seasoning
  • 1/8 tsp cloves
  • 2 x egg whites beaten
  • 1 head cabbage core removed,
  •     steamed till leaves can be pulled off
  •     easily
  • 1 x 16 ounce can minced tomatoes
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. raisins less if you do not
  •     love raisins
  • 6 Tbsp. rice vinegar

Direcciones

  1. Saute/fry onion and garlic. Mix with rice, 1 tsp. of Spike, cloves and egg whites. Place 2 Tbsp. in the center of a cabbage leaf. Fold the sides up and roll up. Place seam side down in an 11-by-13-inch baking dish. Prepare additional rolls-there will be a total of 10 or possibly 12.
  2. Mix tomatoes, raisins, the remaining tsp. of Spike, sugar, and vinegar in a pot over low heat till sugar dissolves. Pour mix over cabbage rolls. Bake at 375 degrees for 35 min. Serve with nonfat lowfat sour cream on the side.
