Receta Sweet Onion Burger
by Paula, A Simple Home Cook

My husband has liked those frozen onion hamburger patties since his dad cooked them once when we were visiting a few years ago. He likes them so much that he has been known to buy and cook them when we have had direct-from-the-farmer, grass-fed beef in the freezer. I am more of a fan of using what we have in our budget and freezer. Thinking it would be easy to make one that tasted just as good if not better, I decided to make my own. I was right; it was very easy.

If you are planning to top one or more of your burgers with bacon, cook the bacon first and reserve the bacon grease and saute the onion in it. The grease will add just a touch of extra flavor to the burgers.
