Pin Yum Stumble Tweet +1 ShareShares 0You know by now how crazy I am about everything sweet potato. Sweet potato raisin and honey is a popular side dish. At home and at times, we have it as part of our breakfast. It is a tasty side and I don’t have enough words to describe how awesome it tastes.I made a baked version sometimes back, but I like this version more. I have used raisins but you can omit it if you are not fond of it. You can use different nuts instead, or even sprinkle shredded coconuts. It depends on your taste and liking.Making Sweet Potato Raisin HoneyTo make this side dish Vegan, replace the honey with raw sugar and instead of butter use oil. I have tried both vegan and non-vegan versions and the taste is almost the same. Make sure you buy a good quality sweet potato, it makes a difference. If you want to go wild, add a scoop of vanilla ice cream and enjoy a mind-blowing treat. Turning this side to a dessert is easy.
