SWEETCORN BAKE

An easy and very tasty side dish to have at a braai or BBQ
Children and adults alike enjoy it.

Ingredientes

  • 1 (one) can cream style sweetcorn
  • ¾ cup milk
  • ¾ cup mealie meal
  • ¼ cup flour
  • 1 large onion diced and lightly fried in butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

Direcciones

  1. Mix all ingredients together and pour into a greased ovenproof dish.
  2. Sprinkle over grated cheese and paprika if liked.
  3. Bake @ 180 /360 for about 40 minutes or until set
  4. NOTE
  5. 1 cup frozen peas or
  6. 1 cup mixed vegetables or
  7. 1 can of drained asparagus cuts can be added if liked.
  8. No need to adjust other ingredients if doing this.
