Syrup For Hot Or Cold Chocolate Drink

Ingredientes

  • 1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa
  • Artificial sweetener equal to 1/2 c. plus 2 1/2 tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 c. warm water
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla

Direcciones

  1. In saucepan, combine cocoa, artificial sweetener, sugar and water; mix well. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly till mix comes to boiling point. Stir in vanilla.
  2. Store syrup in jar in refrigerator. Add in 1-2 Tbsp., or possibly less if you like, to skim lowfat milk allowance to make warm or possibly cool chocolate. This can't be used as a topping since it has a bitter taste before being mixed with lowfat milk.
