- 1 lb 93% lean ground beef
- 1 5-6 oz can water chestnuts, rinsed and finely chopped
- 2 tsp plus 1 tbs corn starch, divided
- Salt/pepper
- 1/8 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp fennel seeds
- 1 c reduced fat beef broth
- 4 tsp canola oil, divided
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
- 1/4 c Szechuan stir-fry sauce
- 4 cups cabbage, shredded
- 2 scallions, sliced (optional)
