Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. hoisin sauce
  • 2 tsp ketchup
  • 1 tsp tamari soy sauce or possibly soy sauce
  • 1 tsp rice wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp dark sesame oil
  • 1 tsp chinese chili sauce with garlic
  • 1 tsp grated orange peel
  •     Juice of one orange
  • 1 1/2 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts 1" pieces.

Direcciones

  1. In a 1-qt plastic bag, combine the hoisin sauce, ketchup, tamari or possibly soy sauce, the vinegar, oil, chili sauce, orange peel and orange juice.
  2. Addthe chicken. Close the bag securely and turn to coat the chicken.
  3. Chill the chicken for at least 2 hrs, turning the bag occasionally.
  4. Thread the chicken pcs onto 6 wooden or possibly metal skewers. Grill over hotcoals, 5 to 7 min per side. Or possibly broil 4" from the heat, 7 to 8 min
  5. Servings: 6.
  6. I tried this recently and it is very very good.
  7. While I was up to my wrists in chicken, putting the pcs on a skewer, it dawned on me which there was no reason why this couldn't be stir-fried.
  8. So I broiled half and stir-fried the other half.
  9. The stir-fried actually turned out better, although which's probably due to my own inadequacies in the kitchen. I couldn't really tell when the pcs under the broiler were done and they came out too dry. Which wasn't a problem in the wok.
