A while back I began to play around with different recipes to make my own seasoning, and frankly most of the ingredients are always in my pantry so it was a no-brainer! Taco Seasoning-DIY
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons black pepper
Directions:
Mix all the ingredients together and store in an airtight container. Use 3 tablespoons mixture plus 3/4 cup water add to your browned meat, mix and simmer for 10 minutes.
