Ingredientes

  • 1/3 lb natural Graham crackers (1 pkg)
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp. maple syrup
  • 2 Tbsp. sesame tahini
  • 1 1/2 tsp water

Direcciones

  1. Pulverize the Graham crackers in a food processor.
  2. Add in the remaining ingredients and process till well-blended.
  3. Press half of mix into a 9-inch pie pan, firming it well.
  4. If an unbaked filling is to be used, bake the crust in an oven heated to 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 20-30 min till lightly browned. Otherwise, add in the filling and bake the pie as directed.
  5. Servings: 8.
  6. NOTES : Here's a great idea from Dr. Weil: add in some tahini paste to graham crackers to create a pie crust. He has a blueberry pie and a winter squash pie which use this crust.
  7. Note which the %CFF can vary significantly based on the graham crackers you use. I'd use the nonfat variety.
