- Heat butter over medium heat and saute/fry onions and green pepper for 10 min. Remove from heat and add in beans, tomato sauce, chili pwdr, oregano and cumin. Set aside.
- Combine in bowl cornmeal, sugar, salt and pepper. Stir in egg, lowfat milk, butter and corn. Press mix into greased 9 inch pie plate. Spoon bean mix into pie crust.
- Bake 350 degrees 20 min. Remove from oven and sprinkle with cheese and bake an additional 5 min. Let stand 5 min before cutting.
