Receta Tangy Lentil Curry ( Khatti Dal )

- Simmer the lentils in the water till soft.
- Heat the oil in a pan and add in the mustard seeds.
- When they pop add in all the other seeds and the bay leaves.
- Fry for a minute.
- Add in the onions and fry till golden brown.
- Pour in the cooked lentils and add in the tummeric lemon juice and salt.
- Simmer for 5 min to blend well.
- This recipe is a basic lentil dish which can be eaten with rice or possibly rotis.
- Serves 4
