Receta Tangy Orange Barbeque Chicken

Ingredientes
- 2 x Chickens, cut in 8ths
- 1 can (6 ounce.) frzn unsweetened orange juice (don't thaw)
- 3/4 c. Brown sugar, lightly packed
- 3/4 c. Bottled barbeque sauce
- 2 x Green peppers, halved and seeded (in my experience 1 pepper is sufficient)
- 1 x Onion, halved
- 1 can (10 ounce.) mandarin oranges, liquid removed
Direcciones
- 1. Place washed and dry chicken pcs in roasting pan.
- 2. Process orange juice, brown sugar and barbeque sauce till blended (in food processor if you have one, with steel knife, aobut 10-15 seconds).
- 3. Pour over chicken. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 and 1/2 hrs.
- Uncover and bake 1/2 hour longer, basting occasionally.
- 4. Slice peppers and onion (in food processor if you have one, using light pressure).
- 5. Add in pepper and onion with liquid removed mandarin oranges to chicken. Cook 10 to 15 min longer.
- This recipe is great served with rice or possibly couscous. It freezes well. Hope it works out for you. Have a wonderful New Year.
