Ingredientes

  • Mutton Chops (3 chops chopped together) 1 kg
  • Arabian bread or pitta bread (chopped in 4 pieces and crunched with olive oil) 2 nos.
  • Yoghurt (beaten) 1/2 kg
  • Garlic (cloves de-skinned and halved) 1 medium size
  • Fresh Parsley/Coriander leaves 1/2 cup
  • Onion de-skinned and quartered 4 small size
  • Lemon juice 1 table spoon
  • Olive oil 1/2 cup
  • Tomatoes coarsley chopped 3 nos.
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chilli to taste
  • Cubeb powder 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper powder 1 teaspoon
  • White pepper powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • Sumak powder 1 teaspoon
  • Pimento powder 1 teaspoon
  • Cloves powder 1/4 teaspoon
  • Cardamom green powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cinnamon powder 1/4 teaspoon

Direcciones

  1. Throughly wash the chops and dry with paper towel.
  2. Mix spices together and coat over chops and keep aside for 2 hours to marinate.
  3. Now heat oil on medium flame, add yoghurt, garlic, tomatoes, onion and marinated chops.
  4. Cook on low flame till chops are well tender.
  5. Now add lemon juice, parsley and pitta bread pieces and simmer for 15-20 minutes.
  6. Delicious Tashreeb is ready. Seve with Arbian white rice.
