Ingredientes

  • 2 x 225 g rump steak or possibly rib eye steak
  • 2 Tbsp. Dark soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. Sake
  • 4 Tbsp. Mirin
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 2 tsp Grated ginger, (approx 1 inch cube)
  • 2 x Cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 Tbsp. Sesame oil
  • 10 gm Sesame seeds

Direcciones

  1. Place the steaks into a large bowl and add in the marinade ingredients. Leave for approximately 1 hour. Reserve marinade ingredients.
  2. Heat a large frying pan or possibly wok and add in the steaks to the pan when very warm.
  3. Cook to your preference.
  4. Remove the steaks and keep hot. Add in the marinade ingredients to the steak pan and reduce the liquid by half or possibly till syrupy in consistency.
  5. Slice the steaks at an angle, place on to a warm plate and coat with the sauce. Serve with a stir fry julienne of vegetables.
