Ingredientes

  • 1 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 lg. onion, minced about 1 c.
  • 1 lg. clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 (16 ounce.) can whole tomatoes, liquid removed
  • 1 (4 ounce.) can mild green chilies, liquid removed and minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon grnd black pepper

Direcciones

  1. In 8 inch skillet over medium heat, heat oil. Add in onion and garlic; cook 1 to 2 min stirring frequently till onion is crisp-tender. Remove from heat; cold slightly.
  2. Combine tomatoes, chilies, salt and pepper in a medium size bowl. Add in onion and garlic to bowl; stir well to mix. Break up any large chunks of tomato. Makes 2 1/2 c..
