What’s cookin’ good lookin’?
How cliché is that? I know, but I hear comedians use one liners and it always gets everyone’s attention.
I have a step son who is 19. He works at a pizza parlor and eats pizza like crazy. I inquired as to why he eats so much pizza. His response is “Why not, it’s free!”
But then about 10 days ago, I noticed he was eating healthier. Cooking real meals on his own. He was even asking me cooking questions. So I asked him, “Hunter, what’s up”? He says he has got to stop eating the way he has been lately.
He told me his friend Jack put him on a detox program. As he was making a stir fry beef and veggie dish, he asked me if he could put peanut butter on his beef.
Yes, I said, but not straight up. You need to make a sauce.
When I found this recipe from Damn Delicious and showed him the photos, he asked me,” Will you make it for me? I will be off the detox in a few days and I would love it if you would make this for me.
So there you have it. Here is my version of a Thai beef in peanut sauce.
Be prepared to lick your bowl.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.
