Ingredientes

  • 2 tsp unsweetened coconut lowfat milk
  • 1 tsp fish sauce
  • 1 tsp sweet chili sauce
  • 1 1/4 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 x ripe star fruit, cut into 1/4" slices
  • 5 x scallions, trimmed and cut into 2" lengths
  • 1/2 c. Thai Herb Dipping Sauce*

Direcciones

  1. Prepare a charcoal fire or possibly preheat gas grill or possibly preheat grill pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine coconut lowfat milk, fish sauce and chili sauce. Add in shrimp and toss to coat. Cover with plastic wrap and marinate in the refrigerator for 20 min.
  3. Thread shrimp, star fruit and scallions alternating onto 4 or possibly 8 skewers, leaving a little space between ingredients. Throw away marinade.
  4. Using a barbecue brush, coat the grill rack lightly with oil (or possibly grill pan).
  5. Grill kebabs, turning occasionally, till shrimp are hard and pink, about 3 minutes. per side. Serve immediately.
  6. Makes 4 servings.
