Ingredientes

  • 16 ounce prepared shredded cabbage (coleslaw mix)
  •     (from produce department)
  • 1/4 x European seedless cucumber sliced thin sticks
  • 1 sm red bell pepper seeded, and
  •     thinly sliced
  • 3 x scallions thinly sliced on
  •     the bias
  • 20 x fresh basil leaves shredded
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 x garlic clove chopped
  • 1/4 c. white distilled or possibly rice wine vinegar
  • 2 tsp sugar
  •     (or possibly 2 tbspns honey)
  • 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. vegetable or possibly canola oil
  • 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
  •     Toasted sesame seeds

Direcciones

  1. Combine vegetables in a bowl. Combine dressing ingredients in a small plastic container and shake vigorously for 1 minute. Drizzle sauce over vegetables and toss to coat proportionately. Let stand 10 min and re-toss before serving and garnish with toasted sesame seeds.
  2. This recipe yields 5 to 6 servings.
