%20since%20the%20restaurant%20was%20participating%20in%20Inman%20Park%20Restaurant%20Week.%20%20Delicious%20for%20the%20win.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThere%20was%20only%20one%20thing%20missing%20from%20this%20night%20on%20the%20town,%20and%20that%20was%20a%20specialty%20cocktail%20list.%20%20FrusHo%20and%20-Hubs%20love%20good%20and%20interesting%20cocktails,%20and%20they%20often%20enjoy%20one%20with%20the%20bread%20course*%20at%20their%20favorite%20dinner%20spots.%20%20But,%20alas,%20there%20were%20no%20cocktails%20to%20be%20had%20at%20ye%20olde%20Kevin%20Rathbun%20Steak.%20%20Or,%20at%20least,%20there%20was%20no%20enticing%20list%20to%20look%20through.%20%20They%20had,%20respectively,%20a%20Manhattan%20and%20a%20Martini,%20but%20it%20would've%20been%20cooler%20to%20have%20KRS's%20take%20on%20said%20Manhattan%20and%20Martini.%20%20*You%20allow%20for%20the%20bread%20course,%20right?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETFH%20hypothesized%20that%20perhaps%20the%20restaurant%20was%20so%20steak-focused%20that%20they%20felt%20devoting%20time%20and%20energy%20on%20a%20top-notch%20list%20of%20drinks%20would%20undermine%20their%20steakiness.%20%20As%20they%20looked%20around%20at%20the%20approximately%2075%25%20male%20dining%20audience,%20The%20Frugal%20Husband%20suggested%20that%20perhaps%20this%20most%20macho%20of%20masculine%20male%20man%20caves%20felt%20that%20cocktails%20were%20a%20little%20too%20femme%20for%20their%20target%20customer.%20%20Whatever%20the%20case,%20here's%20the%20steakhouse%20cocktail%20list%20that%20FruHo%20came%20up%20with,%20in%20case%20Kevin%20comes%20a-knockin'.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESteakhouse%20Cocktails%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPutting%20hair%20on%20your%20chest%20since%20the%20Eisenhower%20administration%20(tm)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EManhattan%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENote%20the%20word%20MAN%20in%20the%20name,%20steakhouses.%20%20Make%20this%20with%202oz.%20of%20Bulleit%20bourbon;%201oz.%20of%20sweet%20vermouth;%201%20splash%20of%20dry%20vermouth;%20and%20one%20of%20those%20delicious%20house-made%20Luxardo-soaked%20cherries%20of%20glory.%20%20Add%20two%20shakes%20of%20of%20orange%20bitters%20and%20a%20sprinkle%20of%20orange%20zest%20for%20a%20(Wo)Manhattan.%20%20Or%20a%20(WOAH!)Manhattan,%20as%20the%20case%20may%20be.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMartini%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDude,%20first%20let's%20just%20all%20acknowledge%20that%20a%20Martini%20is%20made%20with%20gin.%20%20If%20it%20is%20made%20with%20vodka,%20it%20is%20called%20a%20Vodka%20Martini.%20%20Once%20you've%20gotten%20that%20bit%20of%20business%20through%20your%20head%20once%20and%20for%20all,%20fill%20a%20shaker%20with%20crushed%20ice%20and%20put%20an%20ups%20glass%20in%20the%20freezer.%20%20Put%20two%20fat%20olives%20on%20a%20toothpick,%20and%20get%20your%20dry%20vermouth%20out%20of%20the%20fridge.%20%20Wait,%20what?%20%20Yes,%20you%20need%20to%20keep%20vermouth%20in%20the%20fridge,%20suckah,%20or%20it%20will%20get%20rancid%20or%20spoiled%20or%20otherwise%20grody.%20%20OK.%20%20Take%20your%20glass%20out%20of%20the%20freezer,%20and%20dribble%20less%20than%20half%20an%20ounce%20of%20vermouth%20into%20the%20frozen%20glass.%20%20Roll%20the%20liquid%20around%20to%20coat%20the%20sides%20of%20the%20glass,%20and%20if%20there%20is%20excess%20left%20standing%20in%20the%20bottom%20of%20the%20glass,%20pour%20it%20out.%20%20Pop%20in%20the%20olive%20toothpick%20and%20stick%20it%20back%20in%20the%20freezer.%20%20Then%20shake%20two%20ounces%20of%20your%20favorite%20gin,%20which%20should%20either%20be%20Hendricks%20or%20Death's%20Door,%20and%20pour%20over%20the%20olives%20in%20your%20frozen%20glass.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOld-Fashioned%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDon%20Draper%20would%20be%20proud.%20%20Put%20a%20piece%20of%20orange%20peal%20in%20the%20bottom%20of%20a%20rocks%20glass,%20and%20sprinkle%20it%20with%20a%20scant%20teaspoon%20of%20(non-refined%20organic)%20sugar%20and%20bitters.%20%20Note%20that%20bitters%20are%20named%20thusly%20because%20they%20taste%20bitter,%20and%20adjust%20accordingly.%20%20FruHo%20likes%20to%20add%20a%20couple%20of%20cherries%20and%20a%20tiny%20squeeze%20of%20agave%20(or%20simple)%20syrup.%20%20Muddle%20that,%20meaning%20pound%20on%20it%20with%20a%20wooden%20spoon.%20%20Add%20crushed%20ice%20and%202oz.%20rye.%20%20Stir%20and%20top%20with%20club%20soda.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBlood%20and%20Sand%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EYou're%20a%20steakhouse,%20so%20you%20have%20a%20single%20malt%20Scotch%20list.%20%20Might%20as%20well%20make%20use%20of%20it.%20%20In%20a%20cocktail%20shaker%20filled%20with%20crushed%20ice,%20mix%201.5oz.%20of%20Laphroig%20(or%20other%20smoky%20Scotch)%20with%201oz.%20each%20of%20cherry%20brandy,%20sweet%20vermouth,%20and%20orange%20juice.%20%20Strain%20and%20serve%20up.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20Fifth%20Drink%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20fifth%20drink%20is%20a%20matter%20for%20much%20debate.%20%20It%20should%20be%20lighter%20and%20perhaps%20less%20boozy,%20made%20with%20gin%20or%20vodka,%20but%20still%20big%20enough%20to%20make%20sense%20in%20the%20land%20of%20beef,%20beef,%20lamb,%20and%20beef.%20%20Maybe%20a%20Zombie.%20%20Maybe%20a%2
