Ingredientes

  • 4 x Matzohs
  • 4 tsp oil or possibly chicken fat
  • 5 x Large eggs
  • 1 x lge. onion
  • 4 tsp minced fresh parsley
  • 1 c. Matzoh Meal
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Ginger
  • 1/2 tsp Nutmeg

  1. Soak the matzohs several min in hot water and drain. Heat the oil/fat and add in onions. Fry till brown. Add in matzohs and stir around till they leave the side of the frying pan clean. Remove matzohs into a bowl and add in seasonings, Large eggs, parsley and sufficient matzoh meal to make a soft dough.
  2. Place a cover over the bowl and put into fridg for about 2-3 hrs. With wet hands, form into balls and throw into either salted water or possibly a mix of chicken broth and water till they float to the top.
