Receta The easiest Cheese Danish you'll ever make!
by Lisa @ Flour Me With Love

Cream cheese, crescent rolls and cinnamon sugar make a simple & delicious danish!

I love waking up the family with the smell of fresh baked pastries. I'll make stuffed cinnamon rolls, no-yeast cinnamon sticky rolls, cinnamon roll coffee cake , scones... you name it, and I'll bake it! Sometimes I don't have a lot of time so I like to make Cheese Danishes. They are truly the simplest pastry you'll ever make! All you have to do is pop open a can of crescent rolls, fill them up with sweetened cream cheese, crimp them shut, bake and enjoy! We've also added in some preserves, nutella, fruit, even chocolate. The combinations are endless and in a matter of minutes you'll have a scrumptious breakfast, brunch or dessert!

Ingredients are as follows:

Directions:

Unroll the crescent rolls; take two triangles and crimp the edges together. Repeat with remaining dough.

Mix together the cream cheese and powdered sugar; reserve about a tablespoon for the glaze.

Evenly spread the cream cheese among the four danishes; leave half an inch border on three sides.

Flip one half of the dough over and crimp the edges with a fork.

Place onto the greased cookie sheet and sprinkle with cinnamon & sugar.

Bake for 10 - 12 minutes; until golden brown around the edges.

Allow to cool on the cookie sheet. Take the reserved tablespoon of sweetened cream cheese and stir in 1 (or 2) tablespoons of milk until you get a smooth glaze. Drizzle on top of the danishes and enjoy!
