.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EStarters%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWe%20kept%20it%20quite%20simple%20given%20that%20we%20knew%20our%20main%20course%20would%20be%20a%20meaty%20feast.%20We%20opted%20for%20a%20chocolate%20bread%20to%20share%20which%20was%20beautiful!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMain%20courses%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWe%20were%20here%20to%20try%20the%20%E2%80%98Lux%E2%80%99%20Burgers%20(think%20luxury).%20Take%20a%20classic%20burger%20but%20top%20it%20with%20scallops,%20prawns%20and%20lobsters.%20Visually%20they%20look%20stunning%20and%20it%E2%80%99s%20the%20first%20time%20I%E2%80%99ve%20seen%20such%20a%20unique%20twist%20on%20a%20burger%20which%20I%20thoroughly%20recommend.%20It%E2%80%99s%20what%20you%E2%80%99d%20expect%20from%20a%20South%20African%20restaurant%20and%20if%20you%E2%80%99ve%20ever%20visited%20the%20rainbow%20country%20%E2%80%93%20then%20this%20will%20take%20you%20back%20with%20all%20the%20colours%20and%20quirky%20twists.%20We%20also%20went%20for%20the%20rib-eye%20steak%20%E2%80%93%20300g%20for%20%C2%A333.%20Whilst%20that%20wasn%E2%80%99t%20the%20cheapest%20cut,%20you%20can%20get%20a%20rump%20steak%20at%20200g%20for%20%C2%A318.%20It%20was%20served%20with%20chunky%20chips%20and%20garlic%20butter.%20There%20is%20also%20a%20great%20selection%20of%20sides%20such%20as%20asparagus%20and%20mushrooms.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDesserts%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWe%20shared%20a%20Madiba%20Charity%20Malva%20Pudding%20(phew!%20that%20was%20a%20mouthful%20writing%20that).%20The%20waiter%20said%20it%20was%20Nelson%20Mandela%E2%80%99s%20favourite%20dessert%20and%20I%20can%20see%20why.%20It%E2%80%99s%20like%20sticky%20toffee%20pudding%20and%20very%20comforting.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOverall%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20is%20a%20fantastic%20restaurant%20with%20a%20big%20heart%20straight%20from%20South%20Africa.%20The%20service%20is%20very%20attentive%20and%20any%20questions%20or%20recommendations%20we%20needed%20were%20reacted%20to%20positively!%20I%E2%80%99ve%20been%20to%20South%20Africa%20and%20the%20food%20there%20is%20incredible%20and%20it%E2%80%99s%20lovely%20to%20have%20a%20taster%20of%20this%20in%20the%20UK.%20We%E2%80%99ll%20be%20back.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20Meat%20Co,%20Westfield,%20Ariel%20Way,%20London%20W12%207GA%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ewww.themeatco.com%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDisclaimer:%20We%20were%20guests%20of%20the%20restaurant,%20all%20thoughts%20are%20our%20own.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
