%20and%20just%20how%20difficult%20it%20can%20be%20to%20find%20an%20easy%20vegan%20fudge%20recipe%20that%20is%20still%20delicious,%20which%20is%20why%20I%20decided%20to%20share%20it.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20therein%20lies%20the%20personal%20problem%20for%20me.%20I%20have%20made%20this%20fudge%20countless%20times%20and%20shared%20it%20with%20friends%20and%20family%20at%20parties%20and%20brought%20it%20as%20a%20hostess%20gift.%20It%20is%20always%20wildly%20popular%20and%20loved%20by%20all%20who%20eat%20it,%20but%20once%20those%20folks%20read%20this%20post%20and%20see%20just%20how%20easy%20it%20is%20to%20make,%20they%20might%20feel%20like%20I'm%20phoning%20it%20in%20whenever%20I%20bring%20it%20as%20a%20gift.%20But%20for%20my%20fair%20readers,%20it's%20a%20risk%20I've%20decided%20to%20take.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20am%20truly%20stretching%20my%20brain%20to%20remember%20where%20I%20found%20this%20recipe%20for%20the%20first%20time.%20I%20remember%20the%20day%20I%20found%20the%20recipe.%20I%20just%20desperately%20wanted%20fudge.%20Fudge%20usually%20involves%20marshmallows;%20I%20don't%20usually%20keep%20vegan%20marshmallows%20in%20my%20house%20and%20they%20can%20be%20on%20the%20expensive%20side%20(though%20I%20strongly%20recommend%20the%20delicious%20Dandies%20brand%20if%20you%20are%20inclined%20to%20go%20buy%20some).%20I%20also%20wasn't%20excited%20at%20the%20prospect%20of%20standing%20over%20a%20stove%20and%20going%20through%20the%20actual%20rigamarole%20of%20fudge-making;%20I%20just%20wanted%20to%20fudge%20to%20appear.%20I%20think%20I%20may%20also%20have%20wanted%20peanut%20butter%20and%20chocolate,%20too.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENow%20that%20I%20reread%20that%20passage,%20I%20must%20have%20been%20having%20a%20cranky%20day%20of%20fudge%20craving%20-%20yikes!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnyway,%20I%20ended%20up%20ordering%20vegan%20fudge%20from%20Realist%20Mermaid%20on%20Etsy.%20When%20the%20fudge%20arrived%20later%20that%20week,%20it%20was%20delicious%20(though%20I%20just%20checked,%20and%20sadly,%20it%20appears%20she%20took%20down%20her%20store).%20But%20that%20did%20not%20fix%20the%20problem%20that%20I%20wanted%20fudge%20NOW.%20So%20I%20looked%20around%20on%20Allrecipes%20and%20found%20what%20appeared%20to%20be%20the%20world's%20easiest,%20three-ingredient%20recipe%20for%20fudge.%20All%20three%20ingredients%20were%20in%20my%20house.%20There%20was%20almost%20zero%20effort%20in%20putting%20it%20together.%20And%20there%20was%20chocolate%20AND%20peanut%20butter%20in%20it.%20I%20excitedly%20made%20it%20and%20I've%20never%20looked%20back!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20fudge%20recipe%20has%20been%20a%20hero%20to%20my%20countless%20times.%20I've%20thrown%20together%20as%20a%20dessert%20when%20I've%20been%20invited%20to%20parties%20at%20the%20last%20minute,%20it's%20been%20a%20great%20on-the-go%20snack%20(both%20for%20winter,%20when%20fudge%20tends%20to%20make%20a%20holiday%20appearance%20and%20summer,%20when%20I%20want%20to%20keep%20the%20oven%20off),%20it%20is%20fancy%20enough%20to%20be%20wrapped%20up%20nicely%20and%20presented%20as%20a%20hostess%20gift,%20and%20it%20can%20also%20feed%20at%20least%20one%20pregnant%20lady%20who%20OH%20MY%20GOODNESS%20NEEDS%20CHOCOLATE%20NOW.%20(I'm%20going%20to%20keep%20it%20real%20with%20you%20-%20I'm%20actually%20eating%20this%20fudge%20while%20I'll%20type%20this%20post.)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHere's%20how%20it%20all%20comes%20together!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThese%20are%20the%20three%20ingredients%20you%20need%20-%20one%20cup%20of%20vegan%20chocolate%20chips,%20one%20cup%20of%20peanut%20butter,%20and%203/4%20cup%20of%20maple%20syrup.%20For%20chocolate%20chips,%20I%20like%20the%20Enjoy%20Life%20brand,%20though%20I've%20also%20been%20known%20to%20get%20the%20Whole%20Foods%20365%20brand%20Vegan%20Semisweet%20Chocolate%20Chips.%20(Ghirardelli%20Semisweet%20Chips%20also%20used%20to%20be%20vegan,%20but%20it's%20been%20awhile%20since%20I've%20checked.)%20For%20peanut%20butter,%20I%20always%20use%20natural%20peanut%20butter.%20I%20tend%20to%20get%20chunky,%20but%20smooth%20or%20chunky%20will%20work.%20For%20maple%20syrup,%20just%20get%20the%20real%20stuff.%20Grade%20A%20or%20B%20is%20fine;%20the%20grade%20has%20to%20do%20with%20the%20color%20and%20flavor,%20not%20the%20quality,%20so%20just%20get%20what's%20on%20sale%20(I%20keep%20a%20big%20jug%20of%20it%20in%20my%20fridge).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAdd%20all%20of%20the%20ingredients%20to%20your%20pot%20and%20melt%20together,%20stirring%20constantly,%20over%20medium-low%20to%20medium%20heat.%20This%20should%20only%20take%20a%20couple%20of%20minutes...%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELine%20a%20square%20pan%20with%20parchment%20paper.%20Pour%20in%20the%20fudge%20mixture%20and%20spread%20it%20evenly%20throughout%20the%20pan.%20You%20might%20find%20the%20edges%20do%20not%20neatly%20go%20down;%20that's%20okay.%20Those%20pieces%20will%20just%20turn%20out%20%22rustic,%22%20which%20means%20your%20friends%20will%20believe%20you%20that%20it's%20homemade,%20or%20you%20can%20just%20cut%20off%20those%20little%20pieces%20and%20eat%20them%20y
