Bacon Almond Spread
Bacon Torte with Pepper Jelly
Cranberry Cream Cheese Spread

All these pair with crackers or toast.

Ingredientes

  • Bacon Almond Spread:
  • small can water chestnuts, drained and minced
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 2 C shredded sharp cheddar - I like Wisconsin white
  • 4 scallion, chopped
  • 4 oz. toasted almonds
  • 1/2 C mayo
  • 2 T sour cream
  • dash Tabasco
  • chopped parsley for garnish
  • Bacon Torte:
  • 8 oz. soft cream cheese
  • 1 C shredded sharp cheddar
  • 3 chopped scallions
  • 4-6 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 6 crumbled Ritz crackers
  • Cranberry Cheese Spread:
  • 8 oz. soft cream cheese
  • 2 T orange juice concentrate
  • 1/8 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp orange zest
  • 1/4 C toasted pecans or almonds
  • 1/4 C chopped dried cranberries or Craisins
  • 2 T pepper jelly (Tabasco makes this)

Direcciones

  1. Bacon Almond Spread can be served room temp. or bake at 350 for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Bacon Torte: Heat oven to 400 degrees. Mix 2 cheeses, mayo, scallions, bacon and spread in Pyrex or other pie plate. Top with crackers and when dish comes out of the oven in 20 minutes, dollop on pepper jelly.
  3. Cranberry Spread: Mix together ingredients and serve room temp.
