- 1 cup chilled buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt, plus more for seasoning as needed
- 1 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper, plus more for seasoning fish
- ½ cup corn starch
- ½ cup almond flour (or other ground nut flour)
- 4 (4 ounce) tilapia fillets
- 2 cup or as needed for frying

- 1 cup ulienned peeled carrots
