Time Management Turkey Barley Soup

Ingredientes

  • 10 to 12 pound turkey carcass plus giblets
  • 8 c. water
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 clove garlic, cut up
  • 10 black peppercorns
  • 1/2 c. minced parsley
  • 2 c. minced onion
  • 1/3 c. regular barley
  • Dash paprika
  • 1 c. sliced carrots
  • 1 c. sliced celery
  • 1 (10 ounce.) pkg. frzn cut green beans

Direcciones

  1. Place first seven ingredients in large soup kettle. Bring to boil, cover and simmer 45 min. Add in barley; cover and continue cooking one hour. Remove carcass and giblets. Add in paprika, carrots and celery. Cover and cook 10 min.
  2. Meanwhile, remove meat from bones and cut up the giblets, add in to soup with green beans. Return to boil, cover and continue cooking 5 min. Skim off excess fat and serve. Makes 8 servings.
