Ingredientes

  • 6 lrg Egg Yolks
  • 3/4 c. Sugar
  • 2/3 c. Lowfat milk
  • 1 lb Mascarpone cheese, softened
  • 1 1/4 c. Heavy Cream
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla
  • 2 pkt Lady Fingers
  • 1/4 c. Cool Prepared Espresso
  • 2 Tbsp. Rum
  • 1 Tbsp. Baking Cocoa

Direcciones

  1. Beat egg yolks and sugar in 2-qt saucepan with wire whisk till well blended. Beat in lowfat milk. Heat to boiling over medium heat, stirring constantly; reduce heat to low. Boil and stir 1 minute; remove from heat.
  2. Place plastic wrap or possibly waxed paper directly onto egg yolk mix in saucepan. Chill 1 hour.
  3. Mix egg yolk mix and cheese with wire whisk till smooth. Beat cream and vanilla in chilled bowl with electric mixer on high speed till stiff.
  4. Separate ladyfingers horizontally in half. Mix espresso and rum. Drizzle ladyfingers with espresso mix.
  5. Arrange half of the ladyfingers in single layer in ungreased rectangular baking dish, 11X7X1 1/2 inches. Spread half of the cheese mix then half the whipped cream over the ladyfingers. repeat layers. Sprinkle with cocoa. Cover and chill 4 to 6 hrs or possibly till set. Chill any remaining desert.
