Receta Tofu Jalfrezi
Tofu is very good source of protein as well as low in calories and fat. Tofu Jalfrezi is made with tofu and fresh vegetable along with delectable Indian spices.

- Ingredients
- Tofu Jalfrezi Ingredients
- 200 gm tofu ( cut into small strips)
- 1 large tomato peeled and chopped
- 3 cloves garlic crushed
- ½ tsp cumin powder
- ½ tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- ¼ tsp garam masala
- 1 onion chopped
- ½ cup carrots julienned
- ½ green bell pepper julienned
- ½ cup green peas
- 1 tbsp tomato puree
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- Salt to taste
- 3 tbsp oil
Coriander leaves for garnishing
Method
Tofu Jalfrezi
Heat the oil in a wok. Fry the garlic till they start to turn golden brown and add in the onion.
Fry till the onions are translucent and add the carrots and peas. Fry till the carrots are cooked.
Now add the tomatoes, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt. Fry till mixture separates oil.
Now add in the apple cider vinegar, tofu and bell pepper. Mix well so that the spices coat the tofu.
Sprinkle with dried or fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
Serving Instructions
Serve this delicious stir fry with noodles or fried rice. You can also have it as a meal itself along with some protein like steak or kebabs.
