- Position rack in lower third of oven and preheat to 400 degrees. Spread mustard over pastry and bake 5 min. Cold. Remove sausage from casings. Saute/fry in small skillet, crumbling with fork till cooked through. Drain and let cold. Sprinkle sausage over pastry. Cover with tomato slices and sprinkle with salt, pepper, basil and parsley.
- Combine cheese and mayonnaise in small bowl and blend well. Spread over tomato slices, sealing completely to edges. Bake till warm and bubbly, about 35 min. Serve immediately. Serves 4-6.
- It is best made with fresh tomatoes, basil and parsley.
