.%20Thanks!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20had%20a%20bunch%20of%20hydroponic%20tomatoes%20from%20the%20local%20farmer's%20market,%20so%20I%20decided%20to%20make%20a%20sort%20of%20tomato%20based%20soup.%20%20I%20don't%20usually%20puree%20my%20soups,%20but%20I%20thought%20I'd%20try%20it%20(even%20though%20I%20only%20have%20a%20tiny%20food%20processor).%20%20It%20worked%20really%20well,%20mixed%20with%20a%20sweet%20brown%20rice/barley%20mixture%20and%20topped%20with%20nutritional%20yeast.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPuree%20all%20the%20vegetables%20except%20the%20onion,%20garlic,basil,%20kale,%20and%201%20tomato%20until%20smooth.%20%20Set%20aside.%20Now%20puree%20the%20last%20tomato%20just%20a%20tiny%20bit,%20so%20it's%20still%20chunky.%20%20Add%20to%20other%20vegetables.%20%20Heat%201/4%20cup%20water%20(not%20part%20of%20the%202%20cups)%20in%20a%20stockpot.%20%20Add%20the%20onions%20and%20garlic%20and%20saute%20until%20soft.%20Now%20add%20the%20pureed%20vegetables%20and%20stir.%20%20Add%20in%20the%20water%20and%20heat%20on%20medium%20for%205%20minutes%20or%20so.%20%20Add%20in%20the%20basil,%20kale,%20spices,%20worcestershire%20sauce%20and%20tomato%20paste.%20Mix%20and%20cook%20for%20another%205%20minutes.%20%20Add%20in%20the%20almond%20milk%20and%20stir.%20%20Then%20add%20the%20arrowroot/water%20mix%20and%20stir%20well.%20%20Let%20it%20boil%20for%20a%20minute%20and%20then%20turn%20down%20and%20simmer%20for%205%20minutes.%20%20Add%20more%20salt/pepper%20to%20taste%20if%20needed.%20%20Serve%20over%20cooked%20sweet%20brown%20rice%20(the%20stickiness%20adds%20to%20the%20creamy%20texture%20of%20the%20soup).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20other%20day,%20I%20tried%20another%20recipe%20from%20Ani's%20%20Raw%20Food%20Kitchen:%20Cauliflower%20Miso%20Mash.%20%20Very%20interesting.%20%20Never%20made%20raw%20cauliflower%20like%20that%20before.%20%20I%20left%20out%20the%20psyllium%20powder%20because%20I%20didn't%20have%20any.%20And%20of%20course,%20I%20left%20out%20the%20oil.%20%20But%20the%20miso%20and%20lemon%20gave%20it%20a%20really%20nice%20flavor!%20%20And%20it%20took%20forever%20in%20my%20tiny%20food%20processor.%20Apparently%20it%20doesn't%20like%20raw%20cauliflower%20:)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20this%20is%20just%20a%20random%20fried%20rice%20I%20made%20the%20other%20day:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThat's%20it%20for%20today....another%20beautiful%20day%20out%20and%20the%20sun%20is%20shining.%20%20Good%20day%20to%20get%20my%20Vitamin%20D!!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EEat%20smart,%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ET.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
