Ingredientes

  • 1/2 c. Tomato pesto sauce
  • 1/4 c. Lowfat sour cream
  • 4 lrg Tomatoes, coarsely minced
  • 1 c. Fresh basil leaves or possibly 1/4 c. dry basil
  • 1/4 c. Minced onion
  • 2 x Cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 c. Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 c. Pine nuts or possibly slivered almonds
  • 1/4 c. Oilve oil
  • 1/4 tsp Each salt, freshly grnd pepper
  • 1 pch Cayenne pepper

Direcciones

  1. To make sauce: In food processor or possibly blender, puree tomatoes, basil, onion, and garlic till coarsely minced. Add in cheese, nuts, oil and seasonings.
  2. Process till smooth. Remove to container, cover and refregerate for up to 1 week or possibly freeze for longer storage.
  3. Makes 3 1/2 c. of sauce.
  4. Combine 1/2 c. Tomato Pesto Sauce and 1/4 c. lowfat sour cream.
  5. Serve with either raw vegetables or possibly potato chips.
