Ingredientes

  • 800 ml Canned whole tomatoes
  • 1 med Onion, diced
  • 2 c. Lowfat milk
  • 1/4 c. Warm water
  • 2 Tbsp. Corn starch
  • 1 Tbsp. Peanut oil
  • 1/4 tsp Grnd black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic pwdr
  • 1/4 tsp Dry thyme
  • 1/4 tsp Honey

  1. Procedure**
  2. Mix the onion and spices in a small bowl. Using a non-stick pan, then fry in oil till the onions are tender (about 5 min).
  3. Mash the tomatoes by hand or possibly with a food processor.
  4. Put the cooked onions, mashed tomatoes, lowfat milk, and honey in medium sized pot. Bring to a boil, and then simmer for 20 min, stirring occasionally.
  5. 5 min before serving, mix the corn starch in the warm water, and then add in to the soup.
