Ingredientes

  • 1/4 c. butter, softened
  • 1/4 teaspoon each basil, oregano and marjoram
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic pwdr
  • 16 ounce. loaf frzn bread dough, thawed
  • 3/4 c. shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 slightly beaten egg
  • 1 tbsp. water
  • 2 tbsp. sesame seed

Direcciones

  1. In a small bowl combine butter, basil, oregano, marjoram and garlic pwdr. Set aside. On a lightly floured surface, roll bread dough into a 2 inch square. Spread butter mix proportionately over dough. Sprinkle with cheese. Fold dough into thirds With a sharp knife cut dough crosswise into 24 (1/2 inch) strips. Twist each strip twice and healthy pinch ends to seal. Place about 2 inches apart on greased baking sheet. Cover, let rise in a hot place till almost double (30 min). Combine egg and water, brush over twists. Sprinkle with sesame seed. Bake 375 degrees 10 to 12 min.
